Program Overview

Canada has long been a popular destination for International Staff for many years. Each year thousands of participants take advantage of the IEC (Working Holiday permit).  Working in Canada opens the door for you to gain great international work experience and travel. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, Canada is your playground.  This program offers a safe and secure way to start your Canadian adventure today!

We work with several resorts, hotels and companies throughout Canada.  The jobs vary, but include positions such as bartenders, lift operators, ski instructors, wait staff, cooks, housekeepers, office staff and maintenance.  Your gross weekly income will average $300 to $450 CAD or more per week for 30 - 40 hours per week. You will receive normal rostered days off which will allow you plenty of time to see the sights.

Either your employer or Work Experience Canada (WEC) will help you find accommodations during your contract. Also, many resorts provide staff housing for a small fee.

The Work Experience Canada Program offers a few different options to best suit your needs. We offer “Just the Basics” program that gives you in country support for a minimal fee.  However, if you want more, we also offer “The Works” program, which includes assistance with obtaining your working holiday visa, a guaranteed written job offer before you arrive, 2-day arrival orientation in Vancouver or Calgary with free accommodations, airport transfers and continued employment support throughout your stay.
