Before you go

The longer you are available to work the more employable you will be, so we expect you to be available to work for a minimum of 4-6 months.  Having said this it is in the end up to you and your employer to work out your arrangements. 
No, but like any job, the more relevant experience you have, the higher your chances of being employed are. Customer service or hospitality experience is a must. On the job training is provided for you during the first few weeks of your placement. 
Typically you will not find out until 5-7 days prior to starting. This is because jobs become available in cycles and current employees normally only give a few weeks' notice when they have finished their time working for the pub.

Yes; however, you will need to apply for your US visa before you leave New Zealand. We will also need your anticipated arrival date in the UK so that we can work with our Program Partner to ensure your dates will match up.

Lots of people do other programs, tours and travels before arriving and starting work in the UK.  Just be sure to communicate your exact start work date with our Program Partners.  
A minimum of 8 weeks.

Once accepted to the program our Program Partners will work hard to find you a job in the current work environment. If you are not working within 14 days of your agreed start date your program fee will be refunded.   Please refer to the Program Agreement for more details
